The days just merge into one blur to be honest. Decided to stop writing about my walk with Pip and instead focus on some of the bigger stories that have made an impact on me.
Today was again another busy Taiko West day, website work, emails and other things.
The biggest impact on me is the disgusting failure of the U.K. government to promise 100k tests per day and not achieving these now. What a massive failure! I couldn’t believe that Matt Hancock the health secretary in the UK was so smug when he confirmed that the testing totalled over 120,000, when he announced that on the 1st May 2020, that figure was in fact never true and the subsequent days figure confirmed this. When government officials are even bending the truth for their own personal gain whilst families are losing loved ones, it does make you think, whether you can ever really trust what comes out of their mouths and the answer is a resounding NO!
